Hi there, random people of the internet;

Basically i will be using this as a means to produce revision material as it'll just provide not only an incentive to work, but makes things more interesting and also gives me the opportunity to hear some constructive criticism.

Anyhow the material i will be producing will be on the following:
AQA Government and Politics (A2- Ideologies and The Government of the USA)

  • OCR Economics (AS and A2- Markets in actions, the international and national economy, the Global economy and the economics of work and leisure)
  • AQA English Literature (AS and A2- Aspects of narrative and The Gothic Genre- Texts studied: The Kite Runner, The Great Gatsby, some poems by Frost and Rossetti, Frankenstein, Macbeth and Angela Carter short stories)


I will freely admit my main interest lies in the twin bastions of politics and economics as i do well in those but will predominately do essays on English as that is my Achilles heel. If any of you want me to do something in particular just leave a comment below :)

Analysis on the Erl King

The Erl King is a character depicted in a number of German poems and ballads as a malevolent creature whom haunts forests and carries travellers to their deaths.  The ' Erl King' was most famous as the antagonist in Goethe's poem Der Erlkonig, ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3nxyS8wf8E) "I love you, your beautiful form entices me; And if you're not willing, then I will use force."
